I'm halfway through my practicum training, more than eighty hours. Most of the tasks include regular monitoring of mechanized line record (MLR) for ticketing trouble, computer related support and occasional field work. I'm getting used to it and also have the chance to learn something new by sharing knowledge. Kinda tiring but worth the experience. Just a few more days and I'm done.
Here's my featured picks:
Music: I've been listening to power pop and rock. I highly recommend Daughtry or The All-American Rejects. Lovin' Gwen Stefani's music video for "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon.
Television: Watched the 79th Academy Awards? Check the list of winners here. I simply love Ellen's funny opening monologue, hehe.
Games:Rogue Galaxy is a sci-fi themed RPG from Level-5, the developers of Dragon Quest VIII and Dark Cloud series. What makes this game interesting is the cel-shaded graphics, the likable cast of characters and well-balanced gameplay.
Web:FreewareGenius is a wonderful website that discusses everything about free software, updated with reviews and downloads, I find it very useful! My favorite utility is Vixy Online FLV Converter, now I can download videos from YouTube and view them on my PC or mobile phone. :D

Happy Valentine's Day! My greetings to all tBloggers and my readers, to my family, to my friends, to those people who are in love and want to be loved, and finally to my future lover, I know we'll meet someday soon, hehe.
V-Day is also the first day of my exams, still have to do some studying. Then on Thursday and Friday I'll be on my practicum. It's starting to get busy that I don't have much time to look at the mirror.
Here is Muse's music video for Starlight, me likey this song right now! Am I trying to "chase a starlight until the end of my life?"
MUSE "Starlight"
Black Holes and Revelations
Far away
The ship is taking me far away
Far away from the memories
Of the people who care if I live or die
Starlight
I will be chasing a starlight
Until the end of my life
I don't know if it's worth it anymore
And hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold
You in my arms
My life
You electrify my life
Lets conspire to re-ignite
All the souls that would die just to feel alive
But I'll never let you go
If you promise not to fade away
Never fade away
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold
You in my arms
Far away
The ship is taking me far away
Far away from the memories
Of the people who care if I live or die
I'll never let you go
If you promise not to fade away
Never fade away
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Yeah
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold
You in my arms
Wazzup people? Last Sunday I finally bought a Nokia E50, retiring my old Nokia 3100. So far I'm very pleased with the smartphone, I like its slim and compact design, the large display, and the 70MB phone memory. I installed some games and applications, and plan to snap some photos soon.
I started my on-the-job training (OJT) yesterday, I arrived at the office thirty minutes earlier of scheduled time. I was answering calls, dialing phone numbers, monitoring their MLR (it's like a maintenance report system) among others. Generally my first day was OK, though there's few instances of boredom. Back again on Saturday.
Recently my younger sister was so hooked into Korean dramas on TV. Koreanovelas are very popular in the Philippines, and they're usually aired at prime time. Her recent favorite is Princess Hours (Goong). My lil' sis is also a big fan of Rain (Jeong Ji-Hoon), since he became MTV Asia's January Artist of the Month. Honestly I don't watch Korean dramas, but most of them are really good.
Anyways, one time I saw her watching this Korean music video from Kiss, and she's been seeing this again and again. In time for the month of love, this is one sad love story, very touching.
